Renjiro fights the tunnels the way he was taught to fight everything: by listening for the one perfect moment and refusing every other one. He is at his most dangerous the instant he stops moving.
He visibly stills and does not press the attack this round - a genuine telegraph, not a free action.
A guaranteed, massive critical-style strike on his nearest enemy. No prior mark/capstone mechanic in this bestiary has real counterplay tied to TIMING - Kharn's gore charge (round 9) always connects regardless of what the party does.
The Focus breaks and the following round's Cut simply doesn't happen - the actual counterplay.
His epic spell answers - reflavored the Final Draw, a shockwave of released ki rather than a literal fireball.
The Outer Tunnels' real ceiling was Kharn One-Horn at CR15 (round 9); Renjiro is pitched one notch above at CR16, into 3 of the area's remaining Sparky slots.
He is the bestiary's first Iaijutsu Master - cloned from rwrogue, which conveniently already carries real dagger and two-weapon feats from its own prior build; those were unioned with, not overwritten by, his own new feat picks rather than duplicated.
Real Epic Spell: Hellball (id 636/876) - The Outer Tunnels already had Mage Armor (Perrin Ashgrave) and Dragon Knight (Kharn One-Horn); Hellball went here instead, reflavored as a burst of unleashed ki rather than literal fire to fit a blademaster rather than a caster.
