A knight who broke every oath he ever swore and kept fighting anyway — he hunts the divine casters who'd call that unforgivable, and the longer they refuse to fall, the more his own hunger fades.
Feats — Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave, Weapon Focus (Greatsword), Toughness, Great Fortitude, Iron Will
Skills — Intimidate 25, Concentration 15
Spells — Blackguard L1 Doom, Cause Fear, Inflict Light Wounds · L2 Death Knell, Darkness, Bull's Strength · L3 Contagion, Protection from Elements · L4 Poison, Inflict Critical Wounds
The Fight
Every round
Oathbreaker's Judgement
He retargets whoever carries the most Cleric/Paladin/Druid levels present and strikes them - landing a hit that actually lowers their hp banks a permanent Corruption stack.
After two full rounds without feeding it
Fading
Corruption isn't permanent like every prior banked resource in this bestiary - go two rounds without wounding his tracked target and the whole stack decays by half, rounded down.
Every 3rd round, once Corruption reaches 5
Profane Smite
A bonus-damage strike on his tracked target scaled by the current stack.
Once, at 25% hp or lower
Black Absolution
The entire Corruption stack detonates as one AOE unholy nova scaled by what was spent, then permanent regeneration.
Why These Numbers
Blighttide Waste's real ceiling is Famine, the Black Rider at CR32 (Nalfeshnee's CR30 sits under her); Dreven is pitched a notch above at CR34, its third boss. He's the bestiary's first Blackguard - a genuine dedicated `Blackguard` spells.2da column, not a borrowed list - capped at 4th-level spells by the class itself, so no epic spell is possible; documented honestly rather than faked, the same call as Kaine Duskrend's Null Zone.
